Three Niece Farm is a small family farm located in the Quiet Corner of Connecticut. Mitch and I have been in business since 2010 with our young son, Lannie. We're very happy that Courtney, one of our "original three" nieces the farm is named after, has come to live with us as well. Three Niece Farm was recently named a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the Nature Conservancy!
We have three main lines of business at the farm; alpaca and llama sales, fresh eggs from free range hens and fresh produce sales, and our own private label jams, jellies, spice rubs and relishes.
Alpaca and llama sales - We've concentrated on acquiring quality genetics in our small herd. We're proud to have alpacas with genetics from quality lines such as Silver Shades of Peru, Hemingway, Caligula, Bueno, Royal Fawn, El Moustachio, and the Snowmass line. Our llamas boast genetics from animals such as Mazarati, El Fuerte, Silver Moon Tresor, Peruvian Alcoa, Don Alvarez, and Inca Gold. Our alpacas and llamas are correct in their confirmation and have great dispositions.
We sell fleece in various stages of processing - raw fleece, roving, and yarn. We also sell Alpaca and llama products such as hats, gloves, scarves, etc. To read more about our alpacas and llamas click on the "Info" tab.
Fresh eggs and fresh produce - We have a flock of 75 birds that we allow to free range. We treat our girls the same way we treat all of our other animals, with kindess and respect. We also grow and sell fresh produce. No pesticides, no chemicals are ever allowed at Three Niece Farm. Our produce and eggs are for sale at the bright red farm stand at the end of our driveway on Rte. 6 in Hampton. Our eggs are also for sale at the Willimantic Food Co-op. Private Label Jams, Jellies, Spice Rubs and Relishes - We make and sell our private label jams, jellies, relishes and spice rubs. All of our recipes were created by Mitch and thoroughly tested before we made them available to the masses. Our jams, jellies, spice rubs and relishes are on sale at the Safe Haven Farm store located 1 mile down the street from our farm. You can also contact us directly. What is the Family Farm Difference? The family farm difference is our philosophy and the way we conduct business. We treat our customers, vendors, and peers the same way we treat our animals; with respect, kindness, and in an ethical manner. Because we're a small farm we're able to give individualized attention to each of our customers and treat them as we like to be treated.
